YellowHammer Media Group Named as Finalist for Multiple Awards

New York, NY, May 23, 2012. YellowHammer, an online display advertising technology innovator, was named a Finalist today in the Management Team of the Year and Fastest Growing Company categories in The 2012 American Business Awards. The company will ultimately receive a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie® Award for each category.

Launched in 2009 on a personal credit card, YellowHammer has rapidly become the “quiet giant” of the online display world by creating an arsenal of new technology solutions that ensure the highest-impact display campaigns and true return-on-ad-spend for advertisers. The American Business Awards recognized the young company and its seven-strong management team of veteran creative, media buying and engineering executives for driving nearly 500% revenue and employee growth in 2011.

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

“As a young company, we’re incredibly honored to be recognized alongside heavyweights such as Starbucks and John Hancock, and we congratulate all our fellow nominees,” said YellowHammer CEO Mitchell Richler. “We launched with one burning mission: to eliminate the many pain-points that have plagued online display advertisers, and invent a new ‘creative-meets data-meets technology’ approach that could positively transform this $25 billion market.”

YellowHammer is a Demand Side Platform (DSP) and Ad Service Provider that delivers the highest impact display performance solutions across the entire Direct Response spectrum – for both brands and agencies. In the YellowHammer Lab, creative, media buying and engineering teams work together to constantly create new ad serving, ad optimization and campaign management technologies that can finally make display campaigns work for performance-minded advertisers.

“Our technologies enable us to show the best advertisement to a given user by using contextual as well as “situationally-relevant” data. These tools are helping our clients achieve ROI-positive display ad campaigns,” said YellowHammer Chief Strategy Officer Hagan Major. “Being named a finalist for these awards is essentially a reflection of our client results, and we are happy for the recognition.”

Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place May 14 – 25.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevies will be awarded at a banquet at New York City’s Marriott Marquis Hotel on June 18th.
