About Us

YellowHammer Media Group (YHMG) is a full-service digital advertising agency and performance trading platform based in the heart of New York City’s Tech and Advertising scene. YHMG is currently seeking motivated individuals to join the Creative Team as a Creative Operations Manager. This position is responsible for managing all creative tasks and strategies associated with creative design work for direct brands as well as the optimization of creatives.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Must have experience building creative assets for social media buying platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter), search buying platforms (Google), native buying platforms (Gemini, Taboola, Outbrain), display buying platforms (AOL, Yahoo) and video buying platforms
  • Fluency with the latest evolutions of tracking (ie. pixels, tracking links, creative tags)
  • Create and test various ad units and formats
  • Monitor creative testing and optimize to top performing units. Must be able to analyze data to achieve client KPIs
  • Campaign ideation for new accounts and creative concepts
  • Proactively report all big successes, inconsistencies, under-performance or any other creative-related metrics on a daily basis
  • Create opportunities by staying current with new channels, software, and creative best practices
  • Proven ability to setup creative tests, synthesize data & results, identify trends & key findings, and fuel subsequent strategies
  • Demonstrates passion and curiosity for digital media and actively seeks opportunities to expand understanding of creative landscape
  • Productive relationships with internal teams that lead to successful creative deliverables and high client satisfaction

Qualifications

Required:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator)
  • Adobe Premiere or After Effects (with willingness to learn both if not knowledgeable in both)
  • Photo editing guru
  • Video editing and lightweight animation

Additional Important Skills:

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Javascript
  • Copywriting
  • Previous knowledge of IAB standard advertising and social advertising
  • Data analysis

Ideal Candidate:

  • 3+ years building creative for digital advertising campaigns
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience composing performance driven creative and copy
  • Experience with creative project management
  • Willingness to push the envelope of standard design
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and self-directed with good follow-through
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-player attitude
